Greg began his career working at a law firm in Williston, North Dakota. There, Greg worked in many different areas of the law. Greg eventually moved back to Fargo, North Dakota to work for the same firm. When Greg moved to Fargo, he focused his practice on primarily one area of the law, family law. Greg also served as an Assistant Attorney General for Workforce Safety and Insurance of North Dakota. After working and becoming a shareholder for that firm, Greg co-founded Severson, Wogsland & Liebl, PC.
In addition to years of courtroom experience, Greg has represented clients in three cases before the North Dakota Supreme Court, all of which resulted in favorable results for his clients.
Greg attended Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. There he double majored in Psychology and Sociology and minored in Classical Studies.
After undergraduate school, Greg went to the University of North Dakota School of Law to attain his law degree. While attending the University of North Dakota School of Law, Greg received the honor of being able to argue a mock case in front of the North Dakota Supreme Court with his law partner, Nathan. Greg was also named to the Order of the Barristers and was on the Moot Court Board. Greg graduated with distinction from the University of North Dakota School of Law.
Greg grew up in rural Mahnomen County, Minnesota. While growing up, Greg had various jobs from leeching, to construction, to working at a bee apiary. Greg also participated in football, basketball, and track while attending high school at Mahnomen Public. No matter what the setting or the work, Greg’s parents taught him to work hard and to always give 100%. This has carried over to other aspects of his life, including his law practice.
Immediately after college, Greg went to work on a fishing boat out of Sitka, Alaska. Prior to starting law school that fall, Greg worked all but 5 days that summer. Greg literally got off the plane from Alaska and drove straight to his first day of law school at the University of North Dakota School of Law.
After law school Greg married his high school sweetheart, Kristen Liebl (Spaeth). They now have two children and another one on the way. When Greg is not chasing after his children, he enjoys riding around in his 1978 Hammond boat.
