NJ DWI & Criminal Defense Attorneys

When you are going up against the State of New Jersey you need an experienced attorney to represent your interests.  Regardless of whether you are facing an indictable criminal charge in the Superior Court or a disorderly persons offense in Municipal Court, you want to have the best possible outcome.  We have been helping people facing the most difficult of situations for over 25 years.  Here are some of the results we have achieved for our clients.  As you can see in our Results, we routinely handle such matters as;

  • DUI and DWI Charges
  • Drug possession and sales (Possession of CDS, Possession of CDS with intent to distribute, distribution of CDS, school zones, public housing zones, and park zones, drug paraphernalia, and maintaining a drug production facility)
  • Assault
  • Aggravated assault
  • Resisting arrest
  • Eluding a police officer
  • Weapons possession
  • Theft
  • Fraud
  • Forgery
  • Manslaughter
  • Death by auto
  • Shoplifting
  • Arson
  • Endangering the welfare of a child
  • Receiving stolen property
  • Obstruction of justice
  • Official corruption

We devote a major portion of our practice to representing defendants in the criminal courts.  Through membership in the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Criminal Practice Committee of the Monmouth Bar Association we stay current in the latest trends in criminal practice and trial techniques.  Even after 25 years of handling criminal matters we generally attend 6 full days of continuing legal education and training at the national level per year.  You can be assured that our firm will aggressively defend you and achieve the best possible result.

From the time of your first telephone call your attorney will spend the time with you necessary to understand your version of events.   He will then explain to you the laws of New Jersey and how they apply to your case.  He will discuss with you all available options including, if applicable, Pre-Trial Intervention (PTI) and other diversionary programs as well as Pre-Indictment Courts and your rights before a Grand Jury.  If you suffer from a drug or alcohol addiction he will explain to you alternatives to imprisonment including drug court and treatment programs.  We will be with you in court every step of the criminal procedure and do our best to negotiate a plea arrangement that you will find satisfactory.  If you are innocent or the prosecution is unreasonable and does not offer you a fair plea, we will throughly prepare your case for trial and do our best to convince a jury of your innocence.

White Collar Crimes

The majority of white collar crimes in New Jersey are committed by salaried professionals using deception, as opposed to violence or force, to perpetrate theft or fraud. While collar crime generally refers to non-violent financial crimes and are typically either business related or involving government employment. While these crimes may appear to be less serious offenses than are violent crimes, white collar crimes usually violate federal laws or strict state statutes and can carry severe penalties including imprisonment, fines, and restitution. White collar crimes can be either misdemeanor or felony infractions of the law, and these types of crimes can be prosecuted in state court, federal court, or both.

When you are charged with a white collar criminal offense you need experienced legal representation. Many of these offenses result in imprisonment, loss of employment, loss of pension benefits, or disqualification from public employment. Situations such as these can threaten the financial stability and future of both the accused and his or her family. Choose an attorney with 25 years of criminal defense experience to defend you against these career and freedom threatening charges.
